An album I wanted to hear in 1990 and not 2026. You’ve heard the first track, you’ve pretty much heard the whole album. Short, sharp, but not really shocked. It just plays to the formula and sounds a little stale.
The formula is fine when you’re a 20-year-old and want to kick the shit out of everything. But it’s not so great in your sixth decade in your life when you want a cup of tea and some reassuring songs of warmth and love first thing in the morning.
